Thanksgiving Day in Regina: What's Open and Closed
On Thanksgiving Day, civic offices in Regina will be closed, and parking meters will not be in effect.
However, some city services will continue to operate without interruption, including waste collection, which will proceed as scheduled.
- The landfill will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
- Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule, but the Information Centre and RIDELine will be closed.
- Paratransit Service will operate on its holiday schedule from 8 a.m.
- Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery and Regina Cemetery gates will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., although the office will be closed.
