Canvas Website Down for Several Hours
Many college and K-12 students were unable to access assignments or course materials on Monday morning due to widespread connectivity issues on the learning management platform Canvas.
The issue was caused by an Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage, as confirmed by Canvas on its status page, citing "an ongoing AWS incident" as the cause of the disruption.

The outage began around 10 a.m. and affected students' ability to access assignments and course materials.
