In 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron, Vision surprised everyone by picking up Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, and handing it to him.
Vision picking it up stunned everyone, but it also gave the heroes reason to trust the new being.
Vision proved himself worthy during his time in the MCU, especially when he was willing to sacrifice himself to stop Thanos.
