Weather Warning for Southeast NSW
Residents across the Southern Inlands are warned to prepare for damaging winds and thunderstorms.
A severe weather warning has been issued by the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM), forecasting hot and windy weather with a high chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.
- Average wind speeds of 55 to 65 km/h are expected.
- Possible wind gusts of around 90km/h are forecast for the region during the morning.
The weather system will bring a risk of falling trees and powerlines, prompting residents to take precautions.
A "hot and gusty day" is expected across parts of the Southern Tablelands and Southern Highlands.
