Canada's Team Jacobs Wins Opening Match at 2025 Pan Continentals
Team Brad Jacobs, representing Canada, started the 2025 United States Steel Pan Continental Curling Championships with a victory.
The team, consisting of Brad Jacobs, Marc Kennedy, Brett Gallant, Ben Hebert, and alternate Tyler Tardi, defeated China's Team Xiaoming Xu 10-4 at the Iron Trail Motors Event Center in Virginia, Minnesota.
It's the first opportunity for Team Brad Jacobs to wear the Maple Leaf this season, and the team fervently hopes it won't be the last.
This match was a rematch of the 2025 BKT World Men's Curling Championship bronze-medal game, where Team Jacobs won 11-2 against the same Chinese team.
