A 20-year-old man is in hospital with life-changing injuries after a work-related incident on Wash Lane, Latchford, Warrington.
Emergency services attended the scene shortly before mid-day on Monday. A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said:
“At 11.50am on Monday 20 October, police were called to reports of a workplace injury on Wash Lane. Officers attended and found that a 20-year-old man had sustained serious injuries to his arm. The man was taken to Aintree hospital by land ambulance, his injuries are described as life changing. The incident has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.”
Wash Lane remained closed throughout the afternoon as the Health and Safety Executive attended the scene.
