Conwy Tunnel Closure
The Conwy Tunnel on the A55 remains closed in both directions due to a fault in its safety systems.
Traffic Wales North & Mid issued a statement on Monday, October 20, at 8:30am, announcing the closure.
Conwy Tunnel closed - both directions. Traffic will be diverted accordingly.
According to Traffic Wales North & Mid, work is ongoing to investigate and repair the fault as soon as possible.
For the safety of the travelling public, it is not possible for traffic to pass through the tunnel until the fault has been repaired.
