Global Internet Outage Resolving
A global internet outage has been reported, affecting hundreds of websites and apps, including social media, gaming, and banking apps.
The issue is believed to be linked to Amazon Web Services, which provides services to firms worldwide. The outage left people unable to access certain apps, with customers in the US being the most affected.
Ronan Murphy, Chief Strategy Officer for Forcepoint, says things are slowly picking back up now.
- Users were unable to access their accounts on Zoom and WhatsApp.
Meanwhile, unrelated to the outage, a new leaflet titled 'Eating for a Healthy Heart' was developed, and laptops were presented to a school by Tommy O'Reilly of Fidelity Investments.
Kinaffe Community Garden and Dragon Boat Club, Ballina were winners, and Louise Jordan, originally from Bonniconlon, Ballina, was also mentioned.
