Gov. DeSantis Appoints Adam Cervera to High School Athletic Association Board of Directors

Gov. Ron DeSantis has appointed Adam Cervera, a shareholder at Becker & Poliakoff, to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Board of Directors.

I’m excited to help our student athletes reach their full potential, on and off the field.

Cervera, who was named to the Broward County School Board six months ago, will help the FHSAA hear appeals, set budgets, enact policies, and oversee statewide athletic competitions. The appointment is pending Senate confirmation.

Cervera expressed his enthusiasm for the new role, stating that he believes in the power of sports to shape character and bring communities together.
