A Douglas law firm has raised concerns about the proposed Area Plan for the North and West, due to be considered for approval this month.

Simcocks Advocates, on behalf of its client Baccarat Limited, argues that the plan is based on outdated data, lacks independence, and may be undeliverable in its current form.

The Town and Country Planning (Area Plan for the North & West) Order 2025 may be flawed.

Tynwald members are urged to consider these alleged flaws in the planning process.
