No. 11 Cleveland improved its regular season streak to 60 wins after defeating No. 21 Southeast Raleigh.
A medical emergency stopped the game for over 30 minutes when Krisjon Clark was hit by two defenders and suffered a cardiac arrest. According to coach Scott Riley, Clark was not breathing initially, but a defibrillator detected a faint pulse, and he became more alert before being taken to the hospital.
"I was ready to walk away and finish this on Monday," Riley said. "They wanted to finish it tonight."
Despite the incident, the team decided to continue the game, and coach Riley reported that Clark was in stable condition at the hospital.
