Tasmania Claims Thrilling Win Over Western Australia
Tasmania has achieved a remarkable win in the Sheffield Shield, defeating Western Australia by just three runs.
After a tight match, Western Australia required 259 runs to win but were bowled out for 255. The turning point came when Joel Curtis was given lbw on 50 by a Riley Meredith ball.
The final blow was struck by Jackson Bird, who trapped No.11 Liam Haskett lbw with an in-swinging yorker, ending Western Australia's chase.
