A Saskatoon jury is deliberating the fate of Roderick William Sutherland, 47, who is on trial at Saskatoon Court of King’s Bench for his alleged role in the death of Megan Michelle Gallagher.
Sutherland is charged with manslaughter, unlawful confinement, and offering an indignity to human remains in connection with the killing, which occurred over five years ago.
Gallagher, 30, was last seen by her family in September and remained missing for two years, until her remains were discovered along the bank of the South Saskatchewan River near St.
The jury will decide if Sutherland's actions in a King George neighbourhood garage contributed to Gallagher's death.
