The Henley Passport Index ranks Canada in 9th place for the number of countries Canadian citizens can visit without needing a visa, surpassing the U.S.
According to Henley and Partners, the shift is due to countries imposing reciprocal policies in response to new U.S. visa restrictions or entry requirements.
