Cudahy’s Lakeside Pub Closed Indefinitely After Fire
Lakeside Pub & Grill in Cudahy is closed until further notice after an early morning fire damaged the building.
A fire, possibly originating in the kitchen, damaged the Layton Avenue haunt early Thursday. Firefighters were called to the establishment at 6:18 a.m. Thursday for a report of smoke, according to Cudahy Battalion Fire Chief Justin Piper.
The hardest times make the strongest people.
Workers from a fire restoration firm were busy boarding up windows and placing tarps along the side entrance. A sign in front of the boarded-up business thanked customers for their support and well wishes.
