Rise and Shine at 6th & G
As someone who doesn't typically eat breakfast, I like to go big when I do. I recently took my teenage daughter to try 6th & G Breakfast Co., the latest project from Rise and Shine Hospitality Group.
The restaurant is located at 695 6th Avenue in downtown and has a great location, which used to be one of my favorite restaurants, Double Standard Kitchenette. 6th & G has a unique atmosphere, with a Wes Anderson vibe, featuring eclectic art and fun books on display.
Whoever conceived of this place, it most certainly was not their first rodeo.
The decor includes pink coffee cups and saucers alongside purple, textured goblets for water glasses, adding to the restaurant's funky style.
