Westport Students Share Their Views on County Final
As the Mayo Senior Club Football Championship final approaches, excitement is building. Reigning champions Ballina Stephenites will face Westport in a bid to secure the Moclair Cup.
Midwest News visited primary schools in both areas to gather the views of young supporters. Yesterday, Midwest News Editor Teresa O’Malley spoke with students at Scoil Phadraig in Westport.
The school showed their team spirit, with
flags flying high on the entrance to the schoolto support the blue and navy. Principal Fergus Seoighe and his staff encouraged the students to get involved.
