Local Golfers Shine at 2025 KHSAA State Boys Golf Championship
Greenwood's Eli Wade finished 1-over par, tying for fifth overall, while his team placed seventh.
ACS's Barton Rutledge and Bowling Green's Rowdy Harris tied for 25th, each finishing 9-over.
"I was working on hitting my driver," Wade said. "I hit it really bad the first day, but the second day I hit it pretty good hit a lot of fairways. I also learned how to putt miraculously, so that was pretty good."
Wade credited his teammates for the Gators' competitive season.
