Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex, wore custom-made Dior heels during an engagement in Washington D.C., which she had originally worn for Prince Archie's christening in 2019.
As she mentioned in her Netflix documentary, Meghan & Harry, she often felt constrained in her fashion choices during her time as a royal, saying
I rarely wore colour, to avoid accidentally matching tones with another member of the royal family.
Despite her new approach to her wardrobe in Montecito, the Duchess of Sussex still favors some pieces from her time as a working royal, including the custom-made shoes.
