Break the Bank 50-mile Ultra Marathon
The inaugural Break the Bank 50-mile Ultra Marathon took place on Saturday morning, starting at 8AM.
The course began at Sturgeon Lake, followed the majority of the Willard Munger Trail, and ended at the famous Morgan Park bank, now a residential home with an original bank vault.
Over 100 runners participated in the marathon, with Rachel Ragona being the first to cross the finish line in under seven hours.
“Probably one of the prettiest courses I’ve ever run.”
The event concluded with a notable finish at the historic Park State Bank in Morgan Park.
