Arthur Sadoun on why Publicis is ‘winning’ and how ‘struggling’ rivals have dragged down agency valuations

Publicis Groupe's Growth Amidst Industry Challenges

Arthur Sadoun, CEO of Publicis Groupe, believes the company is "winning" despite the global agency sector facing challenges, with "struggling" rivals dragging down share prices.

Sadoun discussed the state of the industry and his company's performance in a Campaign interview, following the release of Q3 results, which showed 5.7% organic growth. This growth is attributed to a strong new-business run and the increasing use of artificial intelligence.

Clients need marketing partners more than ever

Sadoun upgraded his annual growth forecast to between 5% and 5.5%, surpassing rivals. He noted that almost three-quarters of Publicis' revenues are already "enabled" by artificial intelligence, with 80% of its largest division, Connected Media, utilizing AI.

The CEO also touched on the impending acquisition of IPG by Omnicom, stating it has "already" changed the new-business market.
