Tiger Woods has confirmed that he has undergone his seventh back surgery, which may further delay his PGA Tour return.
Woods, 49, shared the news on social media, stating that he underwent lumbar disc replacement surgery on Friday to address lower back symptoms.
The scans determined that I had a collapsed disc in L4/5, disc fragments, and a compromised spinal canal.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Sheeraz Oureshi and his team at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, and has been deemed successful.
No timeframe has been set for Woods' PGA Tour return.
