Weiss has no experience reporting or running a traditional news outlet, and her appointment has been met with skepticism. She sent an email to staffers to align on a shared vision for CBS News.
She sought to “understand how you spend your working hours — and, ideally, what you’ve made (or are making) that you’re most proud of.
