Xiaomi’s Third EV, The YU9 SUV, Spotted In The Wild
Xiaomi’s push into the electric vehicle (EV) segment isn’t showing any signs of stopping, as spy shots allegedly featuring the prototype of its third model have appeared online.
Believed to be known as the YU9, the newer vehicle is shown to be a larger SUV. However, most of the EV is wrapped in camouflage, effectively hiding its overall design.
One thing’s for certain, the YU9 is looking to be the least curviest from Xiaomi’s vehicle line-up, and arguably the least Porsche-inspired.
Although, we wouldn’t be surprised if the finalised version would end up being the company’s answer to the Porsche Cayenne, especially seeing how the SU7 and YU7 are homages to the Panamera and Macan, respectively.
The YU9 is rumoured to be more than 5.
No official statement from Xiaomi.
