A Virginia woman, Makayla Haedt, 29, has been charged with first-degree harassment after allegedly delivering a fetus in a cooler to a man's house near Waynesville, Mo.
According to court documents, Haedt had been in an on-and-off romantic relationship with the man for several years. The man claimed Haedt was a "habitual liar," which made him doubt her when she said she was pregnant.
Haedt told the man, "here's your kid," before driving away.
The incident occurred on September 18, when Pulaski County Sheriff's deputies were called to a house on Laddie Lane for reports of a fetus in a cooler. Haedt had messaged the victim the day before, stating she had suffered a miscarriage, but provided no additional details.
