Amarillo High Volleyball Aims to Stay Undefeated
The Amarillo High Sandies are the only volleyball team from District 3-5A to remain undefeated in district play.
They host Tascosa on Tuesday, looking to keep their streak alive. The Lady Rebels have a solid season, currently 11-1 in district play, with their only loss coming from Amarillo High in September.
“The last time we played them, we struggled with defending the middle a little bit and so I think we’ve got to make some adjustments on that side and I think we have in practice,”
said Amarillo High head volleyball coach, Haleigh Burns. “Both teams have only gotten stronger.”
Amarillo High is preparing to face Tascosa, determined to stay undefeated.
