Hawai‘i High School Song Contest

Big Island Now: High school students in grades 9–12 are invited to participate in the Nā Pua Mele o Hawai‘i Song Contest, presented by Mana Maoli and sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations.

Students can submit a song of any genre, including original compositions, covers, and mele Hawai‘i, for a chance to advance their musical skills and perform live.

Prizes and Opportunities

Students will have the chance to learn from award-winning artist Amy Hānaiali‘i and other special guests, gaining insight into the music industry and how to grow as an artist.

The top 20 finalists will be invited to a day of workshops and one-on-one mentorship, taking their musical journey to the next level.
