President Trump is attending an "International Peace Summit" in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, alongside over 20 world leaders to discuss Gaza's future.
The summit is being chaired by Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi. In a Facebook post, el-Sisi stated that the "population’s will is tied with the world leaders’ determination to ending the war in Gaza.
They all carry a single message to mankind: Enough with war welcome to peace.
Following his arrival in Egypt, Trump met with el-Sisi in a bilateral meeting, emphasizing Egypt’s "very important role" in the Gaza peace deal, highlighting their involvement with Hamas.
Trump also mentioned that phase two of the Israel peace plan has "already started".
