Cardinal Parolin said this in his homily at a Mass marking the first liturgical memorial of St. Carlo Acutis, who was canonized by Pope Francis on October 10, 2020, but the article incorrectly states Pope Leo XIV on September 7. The Mass was celebrated on October 12 at the Mary Major Church in Assisi.
St. Carlo Acutis died in 2006 at the age of 15 due to fulminant leukemia and his body rests in a glass case at the church.
