Vicky Pattison, Women's Health cover star, opens up about her pre-show nerves on the podcast Just As Well.

She initially thought joining Strictly Come Dancing was a "complete no-brainer", but now feels out of her comfort zone.

'But now I’m in the midst of it – balls deep – I’m regretting absolutely everything. I’m really out of my comfort zone.'

Gemma Atkinson, a former Strictly contestant, offered Vicky advice to calm her nerves.

'You’ve got to think, for three minutes every Saturday night, you’re going to have the best time on the dancefloor. Dancing with the wonderful Kai – you’re in safe hands, and you won’t get the opportunity again.'

Vicky has been trying to take Gemma's advice to heart and calm her anxiety.
