Climate Fund Managers Closes $1bn Climate Investor II Fund
Climate Fund Managers has held a final close on $1.06 billion for its Climate Investor II Fund.
The fund, launched in 2019 in partnership with the European Commission and the Dutch Fund for Climate and Development, has a strategy of investing in water, waste and ocean infrastructure in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
- Received commitments from DFIs, multilateral finance institutions, public sector banks and institutional investors.
- Investors include the Royal County of Berkshire Pension Fund.
Climate Fund Managers previously structured the $1.6bn Galapagos debt-for-nature swap, in which CI2 was an investor.
