As the FIFA World Cup approaches, Canadian musicians are uniting for a unique collaboration. Renowned producer Boi-1da leads a special initiative that will raise funds for the Canada Soccer Foundation through an upcoming album titled The Perfect Pitch.
This project merges the energy of sports and music, with proceeds supporting youth soccer programs across Canada. Participating artists include The Tragically Hip, Alessia Cara, Charlotte Cardin, Loud Luxury, Nelly Furtado, and Zeds Dead. Notably, The Tragically Hip granted Boi-1da full access to the band’s catalogue for the project.
The forthcoming album will showcase an eclectic mix of genres and cultures through original tracks, collaborations, and creatively reimagined classics. Its release is expected ahead of the June 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It's inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we're creating isn't just an album, it's a cultural statement.”
