The FIFA World Cup is arriving in Canada in 2026, and many prominent Canadian musicians are joining the celebration. Canada Soccer announced a program on Tuesday showcasing major musical talents working together on a new album inspired by the upcoming tournament, which will be held in Toronto, Vancouver, and 14 other North American cities.
These artists are collaborating under the guidance of Grammy-winning producer Boi-1da.
“The energy around this project has been incredible. It’s inspiring to see so many iconic Canadian artists come together. What we’re creating isn’t just an album, it’s a cultural statement. The music represents every corner of the country, and I’m proud of how collaborative and inclusive the process has been,” said Boi-1da.
The album will include original songs, reimagined tracks, and unique collaborations featuring some of Canada's most celebrated artists. It is scheduled for release before the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which starts in June across North America.
