Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, formerly the Duke of York, 65, has been staying at the Royal Lodge since losing his royal titles because of his association with the late Jeffrey Epstein. Recently, he was officially made a commoner when King Charles removed his prince title and HRH status through a rare Letters Patent issued on Thursday.
Reports suggest Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson received a champagne delivery at their Windsor residence. Several boxes of Devaux Champagne were seen being unloaded from a Majestic Wines van outside the gates of the Grade II-listed mansion before being taken inside. The couple, who have lived at the property for over two decades, are said to spend time apart, residing on opposite sides of the house and meeting mainly for meals.
“He’s been ranting to himself and rarely goes out,” a source close to the family said.
Meanwhile, Sarah Ferguson has reportedly been spending time at a private bar located behind the estate. Andrew is expected to vacate the Royal Lodge and move to a residence on the Sandringham estate when arrangements allow.
Amid his removal from royal life, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor continues a secluded stay at Royal Lodge with Sarah Ferguson, as reports suggest isolation and private indulgence.
