The update reveals that the HiLux retains its current platform and cabin layout from the A- to C-pillars, but adopts an entirely redesigned front end featuring slim headlights, a squared-off grille, and sharp angular lines. The rear now has a more rugged appearance with a tailgate stamped with the word TOYOTA.

- Multiple new versions have been spotted, including the "Prerunner," "Overland," "4Trex," and an electric variant called the "Travo-e."
