Senator Jacky Rosen said, "President Trump and Republicans are weaponizing their power to bring suffering to working people."
She also committed to continuing the fight for Republican extension of Affordable Care Act tax credits after her vote.
Senator Cortez Masto stated, "I know the pain people are feeling during the government shutdown."
Once the government reopens, she plans to prioritize passing a full, bipartisan 2026 budget to restore funding cuts made by President Trump.
