Surging Ducks Ground Jets for 7th Straight Win

Rookie Beckett Sennecke recorded his first two-goal game, while Leo Carlsson added two power-play goals in a 4-1 victory over the Jets at Honda Center.

The Ducks continued their dominant run, defeating the 2025 Pacific Division champions in Vegas and last year’s Presidents’ Trophy winners on consecutive nights. This marks their seventh straight win—their longest streak since the 2021-22 season, when they won eight in a row. They’ve also claimed nine of their last ten matches.

“I heard about the losing days of the past couple years from the older guys, and they’re pretty pumped right now,” Sennecke said.

During this stretch, the Ducks have beaten the reigning two-time Stanley Cup champions twice, along with a Western Conference finalist and another 2025 playoff team.

Next, they face the Colorado Avalanche in Denver—a matchup between the NHL’s two top teams by points percentage.

“It’ll be a good challenge for us. We knew that our schedule had a bunch of tough teams in a row here, and I think we’re proving why we’re an established team,” Sennecke said.

Leo Carlsson is now tied with Chicago’s Connor Bedard, the only player drafted ahead of him in 2023, for second place in league-wide points, trailing only Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon.

The Ducks’ recent surge has solidified their status as one of the NHL’s top teams, with young stars leading the charge and the entire roster embracing their new winning culture.
