Tyrese Maxey scored 31 points, Joel Embiid added 29, and Trendon Watford recorded his first career triple-double as the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Toronto Raptors 130-120 on Saturday, snapping Toronto's four-game winning streak.
Toronto came within 119-116 after Barrett hit a 3-pointer with 3:25 left in the game. Embiid’s tip-in completed a 6-0 run, pushing the Sixers ahead 125-116 with 1:55 remaining. Maxey then made a long jumper with 1:15 left to extend Philadelphia's lead to 127-118, securing the win.
"Embiid played a season-high 26 minutes and was 4-of-8 shooting from 3-point range."
Toronto started strong by making 10 of its first 12 three-point attempts but then cooled off, shooting only 23.1 percent (6 of 26) from beyond the arc for the rest of the game.
The 76ers ended the Raptors’ winning streak with strong performances from Maxey, Embiid, and Watford, highlighting their resilience after a slow start and key late-game plays.
