Fans of “Stranger Things” are anxious as the series approaches its fifth and final season. Stars Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery have remained tight-lipped about the fate of Hawkins, Ind., amid Vecna’s invasion, but hinted at an intense and moving conclusion.
At the Hollywood red carpet premiere, Heaton shared his excitement about the upcoming episodes.
“I really do think it’s a triumph this year. You know, we filmed for a whole year. It’s massive. And I think everyone — I’ve seen the first five [episodes] — they brought their best work to this. You know, you’re seeing our lives for the last 10 years and you’re seeing our feelings and [The Duffer Brothers] and their work all kind of come together. We like it.”
Heaton added that the season is expansive and special, with viewers having no idea what awaits them.
Keery described the final day on set as deeply fulfilling, hinting that the series finale will resolve the story completely.
“I can’t say much about what it was. But, for me, it was one of the most rewarding days on set. And usually, in life, you don’t get to close a loop really in that way. And to be given the opportunity to do that and go out in style was pretty cool.”
The final season of "Stranger Things" promises a powerful and heartfelt conclusion, crafted with a decade of dedication by its cast and creators.
