Scotland Team Named to Face the All Blacks

Edinburgh Rugby tighthead prop D’Arcy Rae started in the 85-0 win over the USA last weekend and will pack down in the front row alongside clubmates Ewan Ashman (hooker) and Pierre Schoeman at loosehead.

Kyle Steyn joins the line-up on the left wing, with joint-record top try scorer Darcy Graham on the opposite wing, having recently reached 34 international tries. Blair Kinghorn takes the full-back position.

Northampton Saints' Rory Hutchinson comes into the midfield, partnering captain Sione Tuipulotu at centre. British & Irish Lions duo Finn Russell and Ben White will reunite as fly-half and scrum-half after their successful 2025 tour of Australia, having started all matches in the recent Guinness Six Nations.

Fellow Lion Scott Cummings, facing the All Blacks for the first time, partners Grant Gilchrist in the second row, who has previous experience in matches against New Zealand.

This back-row is completed by an all-Glasgow Warriors lineup.

"D’Arcy Rae, Kyle Steyn and Rory Hutchinson will start against the All Blacks this weekend in front of a sold-out Scottish Gas Murrayfield for what is set to be a special occasion as the stadium celebrates 100 years."

The match promises to be a memorable event as Murrayfield marks its centenary with a full house to witness Scotland take on the formidable All Blacks.

Author's summary: Scotland has named a strong, experienced squad featuring key Lions players and club teammates to face the All Blacks at Murrayfield's 100th anniversary match.
