Coach Anna Shumilova shared her thoughts on the progress and determination of her student, gymnast Ksenia Saliy from Moscow. She emphasized how Saliy’s persistence and professional attitude led to significant achievements at recent competitions.
“For us, first of all, it's a fantastic success because Ksyusha got in through a quota from the Sky Grace International Association. That is, she wasn't initially selected at the Cup of the Strongest. But when the Sky Grace International Association granted her the quota, we were thrilled and prepared with the mindset that this was a great opportunity, and we needed to take full advantage of it. And the results showed that we did indeed take advantage of it. She made it into the top ten who will now compete in China. And this, of course, is a huge joy, the result of our hard work. Ksyusha is a very hard-working gymnast, you know, a truly dedicated one.”
According to Shumilova, Saliy’s perseverance allowed her to join the Cup of the Strongest through a special quota from the Sky Grace International Association. The athlete successfully reached the finals, finishing tenth overall.
Now Ksenia will represent her team at the upcoming Sky Grace Cup International Tournament and the Beijing Top Open 2025 in China, continuing to build on her momentum from this season.
This story highlights Ksenia Saliy’s ascent from a gifted gymnast to a top competitor, achieved through hard work, mentorship, and the opportunity provided by Sky Grace.
