The national knitwear brand WoolOvers is preparing to launch its first store in Norwich, located in Davey Place, the former site of Patisserie Valerie.
Patisserie Valerie went into administration in 2019, and the Norwich branch closed three years later. The space has been up for rent, with active advertising as recent as August 2025.
A spokeswoman for Francis Darrah, the property agents, confirmed there was significant interest from potential tenants during the advertising period.
WoolOvers is known for its natural and sustainable knitwear, offering a range of jumpers, cardigans, and other clothing items. The company operates several stores nationwide, including one in Woodbridge.
The exact opening date for the Norwich WoolOvers store has not yet been announced. The company has been approached for comments.
“There has been quite a bit of interest from prospective occupiers,” said a spokeswoman for Francis Darrah.
