Romania has been ranked 7th in a list of 18 European and Asian countries for the fastest Wi-Fi connections available on board trains, according to an analysis by internet speed testing service Ookla.
With a median download speed of 12.46 Mbps, Romania's Wi-Fi is more than twice as fast as Italy's (4.78 Mbps) and Poland's (4.72 Mbps), and 12 times faster than the UK's (1.09 Mbps).
In comparison to Norway, which ranked last, Romania's train Wi-Fi is more than 30 times faster, as reported by Profit.ro.
The fastest Wi-Fi is offered by Sweden, with a median download speed of 64.58 Mbps, followed by Switzerland with 29 Mbps.
According to Ookla's analysis, Sweden leads the ranking by far.
