The Jennifer Lawrence episode of “Las Culturistas” turned out to be a treasure trove of revelations. During the show, Lawrence discussed a wide range of topics, from friendship with Emma Stone to her experience on “Saturday Night Live.”
Lawrence shared that she and Emma Stone are producing a film centered around Miss Piggy. She also admitted she didn’t need an intimacy coordinator when working with Robert Pattinson because, as she put it, he’s “not pervy.”
Reflecting on her film “No Hard Feelings,” the actress regretted not getting Botox beforehand. In a lighter moment, she drew a playful comparison between the Boleyn sisters and pop icons Ashlee and Jessica Simpson.
Since Bowen Yang co-hosts “Las Culturistas,” talk naturally turned to “Saturday Night Live.” Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang mentioned their friend Sudi Green, a former SNL writer, who had devised a clever response for anyone overly eager to pitch sketch ideas.
“Even if we did take your idea, it would be a huge legal problem because the waiter could sue us later.”
As they noted, that line usually ends such conversations swiftly.
Lawrence recalled meeting music producer Mark Ronson and impulsively pitching him a song idea about a street sweeper. She laughed about how he simply replied, “Nice to meet you.”
Discussing her time as an SNL host back in 2013 when she was just 22, Lawrence humbly dismissed praise from Bowen Yang.
“No, I wasn’t,”
she said when Bowen told her she had done great on the show.
Jennifer Lawrence opened up about her career quirks, playful regrets, and comedic vulnerability, revealing both her wit and her self-deprecating humor in one lively podcast appearance.
