Cineplex Community Day 2025: Free Movies and Gaming on November 15
Celebrate Community Day on Saturday, November 15, with a morning full of free movies and gaming at local Cineplex theatres, Rec Room, and Playdium locations. This event supports BGC Canada (formerly Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada).
Free Movie Screenings
Enjoy family-friendly films from Universal Pictures, including:
- Minions: The Rise of Gru
- Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
- Sing 2
- The Wild Robot
Select concession items such as regular popcorn, drinks, and candy will be available for $3 each (plus tax) during the morning showings.
Complimentary Gaming
XSCAPE locations will offer 30 minutes of free, non-redemption gaming for visitors. The Rec Room and Playdium venues will open at 9:00 a.m., providing free one-hour non-redemption game bands.
Food Offers and Charity Donations
- The Rec Room will offer fries and mini donuts for $3 each until noon.
- Playdium will serve fries, popcorn, drinks, and candy also at $3 each until noon.
Throughout the day, $1 from every food and beverage purchase, XSCAPE playcard sale or reload, and game band transaction at The Rec Room and Playdium will be donated to BGC Canada.
Additionally, $1 from every concession order of select items during the event will support this national nonprofit.
