Danish toy maker LEGO has unveiled its first Star Trek set: the Icons series USS Enterprise NCC-1701-D from "The Next Generation." For many fans, the iconic Enterprise remains the NCC-1701-D, famously captained by Jean-Luc Picard in the series.
This is the fifth Federation starship to bear the name (or sixth if counting the NX-01 from the "Enterprise" prequel). The ship was famously destroyed in the film Star Trek: Generations, but now the Galaxy-class starship returns as a detailed LEGO model.
