Young Bleed’s eldest son, Ty’Gee Ramon Clifton, announced on Instagram that the rapper passed away on Saturday at the age of 51.
“Rip to the biggest legend I kno…. Young bleed!” the late No Limit rapper’s son wrote. “Love u Dad so much and will definitely miss u… but imma carry the torch from here I got u.”
“I’m glad he went out in style!” Clifton added alongside broken heart and fire emojis. “One time fa the one time.”
Clifton shared a video with the announcement, confirming that Young Bleed “gained his wings” on Saturday, November 2.
To dispel false rumors about his father’s passing, Clifton explained that although Young Bleed had no serious health problems, his blood pressure spiked after an afterparty following the CashMoney vs. NoLimit Verzuz concert at ComplexCon in Las Vegas in October.
The rapper collapsed due to a brain aneurysm caused by internal bleeding. After spending a week on a ventilator in the ICU, Young Bleed passed away.
Clifton described the incident as “more of a natural thing that happened.”
Known for hits like “How Ya Do Dat,” “If I Could Change,” and “My Balls and My Word,” Young Bleed leaves behind a lasting impact on hip-hop fans and the music community.
Young Bleed’s passing marks the loss of a hip-hop icon remembered for his distinctive sound and influence on Southern rap culture.
