Expect milder than average temperatures across much of eastern Queensland, turning cooler further inland. The coast will experience fairly settled conditions with only a few showers along the north-east tropical coast.
Showers and storms are approaching from the west linked to a low-pressure trough. These will affect far north-west Queensland, central regions, and southern inland areas. Some severe storms are possible in southern Darling Downs and Granite Belt. Moderate rainfall may occur in the southern inland and far north-west.
Storms could reach the south-east coast late tomorrow evening or during Sunday morning.
In Brisbane, a few showers are expected with a high around 31°C.
A cold front will pass through central and eastern areas, bringing a strong southerly wind change along with widespread showers and thunderstorms, mainly affecting the north-east and east central coast.
