Jennifer Lawrence revealed on the “Las Culturistas” podcast that no intimacy coordinator was needed for the sex scenes with Robert Pattinson in the film Die My Love. She felt comfortable with Pattinson, describing him as trustworthy and respectful.
The psychological drama, directed by Lynne Ramsay, features Lawrence as a woman descending into psychosis following childbirth, with Pattinson playing her increasingly distant husband. Lawrence explained:
“We did not have [an intimacy coordinator], or maybe we did but we didn’t really… I felt really safe with Rob. He is not pervy and very in love with [partner] Suki Waterhouse. We mostly were just talking about our kids and relationships. There was never any weird like, ‘Does he think I like him?’ If there was a little bit of that I would probably have an intimacy coordinator. A lot of male actors get offended if you don’t want to fuck them, and then the punishment starts. He was not like that.”
Lawrence, praised for her performance and generating Oscar buzz, also appeared nude in the film, which was shot while she was pregnant with her second child. She shared during a recent screening:
“I allowed myself to be naked on camera without giving any thought to how I might look.”
Jennifer Lawrence trusted Robert Pattinson’s professionalism during intimate scenes in Die My Love and embraced her on-screen nudity while pregnant, highlighting her confidence and comfort throughout filming.
