Netflix Releases Stranger Things Season 5 Character Posters
With less than three weeks left until the much-anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things premieres, Netflix celebrated Stranger Things Day by unveiling a series of character posters. These feature main characters Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer), Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), Erica (Priah Ferguson), Robin (Maya Hawke), Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Murray (Brett Gelman), Karen (Cara Buono), and Holly (Nell Fisher), along with new additions Dr. Kay (Linda Hamilton) and Derek (Jake Connelly).
Season 5 Setting and Plot
The story unfolds in the fall of 1987 in Hawkins, a town still reeling from the opening of the Rifts. The group’s mission is clear: find and kill Vecna. However, Vecna has disappeared, leaving his location and intentions a mystery.
Meanwhile, the government has imposed a military quarantine on Hawkins and increased their search for Eleven, pushing her into hiding once again. As the anniversary of Will's disappearance nears, a sense of heavy, familiar dread looms over the town.
